Review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) by Jo W — 15 Nov 2018

Okay, we can agree Fantastic Beasts has not been as good as the original Harry Potter series, but can anything live up to the feeling that surrounded those movies? I'm not a professional critic and maybe that's the point, I don't walk in to a movie prepared to find its weak points.

I sat in that theatre with one of my close friends and we turned to eachother every ten minutes with our jaws on the floor. It was simply a wild ride, but an experience I enjoyed. My advice is let yourself get swept up, it's no cinematic masterpiece but it is still magical.
