Review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) by Roxanne F — 15 Nov 2018

Everything about this movie is bad. Too much screen time for Johnny Depp whose lines are boring and who does not sound or look like he belongs in the HP universe. The tonal change from the wonderous and the compassionate to the dark the vengeful and the nonsensical will surely disappoint and greatly upset the fans.

I can't imagine recommending this to any young viewer. The script is a mess. The CG isn't polished. The random appearances of creatures and characters and the slow pacing make it impossible to stay engaged.

Whoever made the calls need to seriously reflect and bring back the excellence found in the first movie!
