It was a family outing to see this movie. The kids really enjoyed it although there were some disturbing scenes of child abuse hinted at throughout the movie. That did take some explanations with the kids afterwards.
The special effects were very good. The characters and plot drove the movie. There were some very slow spots and confusing dialogue for me as I'm not a Harry Potter fan. However, the movie kept my interest throughout and I enjoyed it.
