Not just my favorite Disney movie, but one of my favorite movies in general. It's not a narrative story, there's not even dialogue apart from the host. It's a large collection of stories and abstract imagery combined with classical music, and it is just mind-blowing.
The Disney animators at the time really knew how to match the movement and art with the music, managing to create a wonderful powerhouse of art. In fact, Fantasia is almost like an art museum, only with motion and music.
If you're into that kind of stuff, then you're going to love Fantasia.
