A much belated follow-up to the original, this film once again blends amazing animation with excellent music. I like that with this film, they chose more varied music and animation styles, from the Hirschfeld/Gershwin inspired New York adventure to the CG/traditional whales taking flight.
My only complaint is the use of celebrities for introductions. They're distracting and take away from the mood of the film. However, the animation and music, the real stars of the film, are top notch.
