Fantasia 2000, while not as outstanding or breath-taking like its original of 60 years old, it still has some entertaining and beautifully done sequences. The main problem is the 3D/CGI sequences; some sequences like the Firebird Suite are well blended with 2D elements, while others like Pines of Rome the differences between the elements are very obvious.
Another issue, is that the animation tends to get lost or go in its own way instead of flowing with the music like the original Fantasia. However, it is still a wonderful entertainment for everyone.
