Review of Fantasia 2000 (2000) by Tom B — 16 Jan 2012
While the "Firebird Suite" segment is brilliant and could easily stand amongst the original Fantasia segments and the other segments are enjoyable, this sequel is good but not as powerful as the original Fantasia was.
And the celebrity appearances are distracting and the movie could benefit without them. I still recommend Fantasia 2000 to animation fans and orchestra music fans alike but only if you've already seen the original Fantasia.
