Entirely too long, and somewhat disjointed... Acting is decent, writing is ok, but there's alot of unimportant scenes that could have been taken out in favor of a smoother segway into the 2nd half of the film.
... it tried way too hard. The plus is that it's a masterpiece of set and costume design.
