Review of Fanny and Alexander (1982) by Robert C — 28 Aug 2008
A film that can hold my attention for nearly 3 hours, not because of its filmmaking but rather its storytelling. Compelling and complex characters are perfectly performed and each frame is wonderfully composed. It's a bizarre film, in that it sticks with me long after the film is over and it's not the story that I want to share with everyone, but rather the meaning.
