After so many years of waiting (and trying)...at last I got to meet Ingmar Bergman ...and I am lost for words... for what i've been missing...I am told that this is his masterpiece...and what a monster of masterpiece indeed...
Fanny och Alexander is so encompassing in its grief, emotion, and cheerfulness....that the characters are absurdly exalting, the storyline is timeless...and the cinematography is absolutely neat...Fanny och Alexander reinvigorates my fascination with films.. and I can't wait for my next encounter with Mr Bergman...
