Okay if you don't know the difference between Admiral Ackbar and Admiral Kirk this movie isn't for you. This movie is for people who have emotionally invested in Star Wars (such as myself). If you don't have a strong well thought out opinion about the Star Wars Saga this movie will just seem dumb to you.
If you can't answer Level 3 Star Wars Trivia much of this movie will go right over your head. Some very funny references and hilarious cameos from William Shatner, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams and Jay and Silent Bob.
This movie clearly has a specific demographic and it represents very well for us. A little too silly at some points and then too dramatic at the end. In conclusion this movie does well for Star Wars fans but at the expense of Star Trek Fans (in a funny way).
