Review of Fanaa (2006) by Santosh D — 13 May 2008
Well the songs are nice, and it is always a pleasure seeing Aamir on the screen, especially because the more he ages, the more handsome he appears; and the moviemaking is sleek, apart from that the movie is so full of cliche and melodrama it is really difficult for any intelligent person to sit through the whole 3 hours- and I got especially disappointed because this was made by the director of Hum Tum, which I considered the second best movie after Dil Chahta Hai in recent times.
The terrorism subplot is so laughable, and the patriotic stuff at the end so unbelievable it makes you nauseated.
