Review of Falling in Love (1984) by Agung P — 27 Jun 2009
Not bad, great cast. De niro and streep really did hit the chemistry note. Harvey keitel and Dianne Wiest also hit it right. Although the story is a bit lame and weak for today's era o flove story.
A story of two commuters on a metro subway who's somehow connected due to the books that they accidentally swap during the collision at Rizzolli's bookstore, the story further grow from that moment, both are married and De niro's character even has 2 sons, streep's character has a recent miscarriage.
Not many sensual or erotic scene, even a kiss is only less the 2 minutes of screen time.
All in all a pretty decent romantic movie with a great musical score from the 80's special Dave Grusin.
Go watch it with your partner, not recommended for married couple.
