Review of Falling for Grace (2006) by Leslie R — 26 Jan 2010
Hi, I find this movie cute and interesting at the same time it wasn't as funny as I thought it would be (Margaret Cho was some what funny as Grace friend Jane). The main character is always felt she wasn't pretty and her parents was poor too so she goes to this high-society party and ever body thinks she is somebody else because she got the same first and last name as one Hong Knog heiress so she tries to explain it but she went along for it for one night (she thinks I won't see these people anymore anyway) then the next day she gets a call from one of the people at the party wanted her to donate something for another party they was having.
During all of this going on she meets a guy who was at the first party (later down the road you find out he got a girlfriend but wonder why she wasn't there at the first party I was confuse on that one).
She sort of lies to him too but he was lying a bit too (he never told her he had a girlfriend either). The funny parts that I like was with Grace mom and dad who still live in Chinatown that she helps out a lot too plus they had the best and sweet parts in the movie.
All in all I found this movie interesting a good chick movie too.
