Review of Falling Down (1993) by Paul P — 17 Dec 2011
You really have to give credit to Schumacher and Douglas for building a character like this. The character isn't played as a hero or some guy out for vengeance. He's an insane man who one day couldn't take it and starts to act on his rage and confusion.
Douglas is outstanding. Most people would play this so far over the top they would double back. Here Douglas is subtle, he looks like he's confused and in pain no matter how he tries to release his anger.
