Review of Fair Game (2010) by John T — 28 Mar 2011
As years go by , after America and Britain invaded Iraq , its becoming clearer that it's not just Saddam Hussein who was the only an evil leader involved , George W Bush was quite clearly an evil man to , maybe even more so , because of the lies and deception that he constantly used to justify invading this oil rich country.
Fair Game is a really good thriller that exposes the Bullshit that came from Washington ( and London) that destroyed so many innocent people.
Naomi Watts plays Valerie Plame , an undercover CIA agent who's cover is deliberately exposed in the press because she found that there were no WMD's in Iraq and she has to fight ,along with her husband Joe Wilson , to clear her name and expose the frauds that walk the halls of the Oval office.
Although this is not an action packed movie it makes up for it in the tension the builds as we see the injustice unfold before our eyes.
I really liked this film and I applaud the director , Doug Liman ,.
For the bravery of telling the real story of why Iraq was invaded.
The really disgusting thing is the same is happening again now in Libya and there is nothing we can do about it.
Different year , different leaders , same deception.
Well worth watching.
