The film was so so. It kind of reminded me of films like Bodies of Lies and Nothing But the Truth, except those films were much better. The pacing was off. Some scenes are too slow. I think if Paul Greengrass would have directed the film then it would have been so much better.
The performances were ok. Watts and Penn were ok here, but I thought they were better in other films. This is the third film they did together, which includes 21 Grams and The Assassination of Richard Nixon. I thought Watts and Penn were better in 21 Grams than this film.
