Fail-Safe is a testament to Sidney Lumet's talent as a director, in crafting a relentlessly compelling thriller that consists largely of dialogue (thanks to Walter Bernstein's outstanding script) and little else.
Walter Matthau's performance is exceptional, and Henry Fonda is great also.
