I was only going to give it 4 and half stars, not because it isn't an excellent piece of work, but because it is just-not-quite as good as Moore's other works. Then I scrolled down to read some of the critic's reviews, and the first rotten review was from Peter T. Chattaway of Christianity Today. It's summary read;.

"The problem with Fahrenheit 9/11 is not that it is one-sided, per se; it is that Moore barely acknowledges there even is another side".

When it comes to neoconservative expansionist and imperialist wars for oil and construction contracts, when undemocratic, unelected, illiberal and unAmerican people like George W. Bush send American and British boys out into the desert to die for financial gain, when these people exploit the tragedies of September 11th and other unrelated terrorist attacks to wage wars between nations, then have the audacity to claim that it was "the will of God" telling them to do so, then it seems like there really is very little reason to acknowledge 'the other side' at all. If only more people had watched this film, rather than passing it off as some attempted coup d'etat with a socialist agenda, then maybe more people would appreciate that our fathers, uncles, sons and brothers are being sent out to die for nothing but money. That alone makes this a five star film.
