Review of Fahrenheit 9/11 (2004) by Sheldon N — 13 Dec 2012
Full of some kind of information, that's for sure. But I really didn't understand what he was talking about. He seemed to be saying the Bush Administration was partly responsible for 9-11 happening but he never came right out and said it.
At least, that's the message I thought the movie was delivering and I know I'm not alone. That's a dangerous statement to make, even now years later. This is the kind of movie made for a DVD release and the bonus features make this into a movie all about the events following 9-11.
It might have been a better movie if they focused more on the way Americans of Middle-Eastern heritage were treated after the storm of paranoia delivered unto us by way of Fox News-type sources making us afraid of all Middle-Eastern people.
As it is now, it just doesn't have the true intelligence and bite of Bowling for Columbine.
