Review of I'm Still Here (2010) by Sheldon N — 22 Dec 2013
Joaquin Phoenix essentially decides to quit acting and pursue a hip hop career in this "documentary." I have to give the filmmakers, especially Joaquin Phoenix himself, a lot of credit for going out there and acting in front of the world during the filming of this mockumentary.
There was certainly effort put into this. The problem is that it's just boring. The film's beginning and end are boring, and the middle is only mildly interesting. It could have been so much more than this.
Too bad.
