Review of Fahrenheit 451 (1966) by Sac S — 31 Jan 2008
I really love this film. It was not released in 1989. It was actually late 60s. Ray Bradbury, Aldous Huxley, George Orwell have all tried to warn us about futurisitc police states where everyone is under close observation - and yet we get closer by the day in th UK.
The most important thing about this story is the message. What does it mean to you? I value my freedom and the right to think for myself. I happen to think that Truffaut does a great job with this film.
Not having a single written word, even the credits are spoken, is genius.
