Review of Fahrenheit 451 (1966) by Catherine L — 11 Feb 2008
I haven't read the book, so can't make any qualified comments on the success of the adaptation, but I thought the movie made an important comment on the value of the written word. Plenty of unintentional goofs, laughably tacky props, an atrocious accent from Oskar Werner and some very bizarre editing choices.
.. but these don't really detract from the value of the film.
