Review of Fahrenheit 451 (1966) by Axochitl : — 25 Jun 2008
A great adaptation of one of my favourite books. Truffaut (as usual) has made a very interesting film with top notch acting and everything. His vision of Bradbury's dystopia is captivating, and to think this was all before today's 100 million dollar budgets and special effects.
It just goes to show you that a good film has little to do with a fat chequebook and everything to do with savoir-faire.
