Review of Fahrenheit 451 (1966) by Neil O — 01 Sep 2008
Though by no means a terrible movie, it is extremely flawed. Julie Christie playing both of the leading women could have possibly worked, but there wasn't enough seperation between the characters- it's clearly the same girl wearing different wigs, and it only makes things confusing.
Also, Truffault is usually a great director, but only when he can speak and understand the language of the film. If this movie had just been in french, it could have been much better.
