Review of Fahrenheit 451 (1966) by Ame A — 31 Dec 2008
While certainly not Truffaut's best, it still has some merit. As a science fiction film, it does well. While the book purists may find that it doesn't follow it to the letter, Truffaut does a good job in making it his own.
I especially enjoyed the little New Wave moments, like the cut editing and the shot of the Cahiers du cinéma magazine being burned.
