Review of Fading Gigolo (2013) by Alberto A — 17 Jul 2014
This is so bad. When I got out of the theater I was quite relieved that this was not directed by Woody Allen. He wouldn't do this rubbish. Fading Gigolo is a story about an old man who was bored and wanted his friend to get paid for sex.
An ultra orthodox Jewish woman from Brooklyn gets involved, an untouched widow. I literally didn't give a shot for the characters nor the story. It's really bad...and slow as hell. It doesn't even have ANY laugh-out-loud punchlines.
As I said, I'm glad this was not Woody Allen, because it would've been a greater disappointment.
