Turturro is an out-of-touch weirdo. This movie shoudln't have been made. A trite and heavily played out plot that goes nowhere (literally, not even showing sex at all) It was like Woody Allen sloppily improvised his lines, costars often coaching him for details (senility?) and the rest of the cast nearly laughing in each scene at how bad Paradis and Turturo's acting is.
