Smart little black comedy that most people probably wont see which is a pity because this is possibly the best thing Matt Dillon's ever done (certainly isn't fucking Crash. Fucking Oscars, always going for the safe movie.
Oh, racism! It's moving and powerful and not at all badly written, let's make it the best movie of the year because it deals with issues). So yeah, good movie, not a lot happens but don't let that put you off, just go along with the ride as his struggling writer tries to make ends meet so he can fund his drinking and gambling habit, all the while commenting on things with a razor sharp dry wit.
