Review of Faces (1968) by Aaron W — 10 Feb 2008
It's amazing how such a generally boring, overdone subject, in the hands of a great director like Cassavetes, can be so hypnotic, sincere, and fascinating. This is a film that just draws you into the lives of these people and it's absolutely captivating.
The whole cast is fantastic, but John Marley gives one of the most remarkable and memorable performances I've seen.
