Review of Face/Off (1997) by Daniel H — 18 Mar 2014
Completely daft and over-the-top, using a premise that results in hilarious performances from Travolta and Cage, the latter who is wildly uncontrollable and as endlessly entertaining as usual. It's almost like a more sophisticated pantomime.
The cliché tropes and characters, and ridiculously dumb dialogue is all well and good, but for what is supposed to be an action movie, the actual action sequences feel rather dull.
