Review of Face/Off (1997) by Harrison W — 27 Nov 2012
Wow. After the disappointing Broken Arrow I didn't have high expectations for another Travolta/Woo joint. Despite having 30 minutes of chaff, this movie rocks. Woo returns to his roots; churches, guns and white birds.
An amazing boat chase/fight scene that is definitely worth the wait, not to mention Cage! Gershon and several cameos(Margaret Cho, James Denton, Thomas Jane, Danny Masterson and Chris Bauer) keep things associative.
I'm not in a rush to see the full Red Cliff, but I would like to see M:I-2 again.
