Review of Face/Off (1997) by Man With N — 15 Aug 2013
Face/Off is a movie that surprised me in many different ways. It actually has emotional depth and showcases how it would change you to be someone different. Of course, the over-the-top John Woo violence that is just a spectacle to look at with the great style and choreography. John Woo knows how to do action right. I came here to see some great action and some fun watching Nic Cage and John Travolta play off of each other and I got a lot of that. It's a fast paced thrill ride that I was surprised by.
8/10. One of my favorite action movies after Die Hard and Lethal Weapon.
