Review of Eyes Without a Face (1960) by Grant P — 24 Feb 2011
Glacially slow in parts but worthwhile for the horror film buff. Other reviewers on Flixster have described this film as "disquieting" and I think this is an apt description. Some fun, campy bits lurk in this noirish horror classic and the "surgery scene" is startlingly graphic for a 1962 film.
The Criterion DVD is gorgeous.
