Review of Eyes Without a Face (1960) by Cate H — 24 Feb 2011
Very haunting, in a quiet kind of way. I love watching old movies that allude to the "future" of medical procedures, like plastic surgery, and then seeing how far we've come. I love the subtle message about identity and beauty.
The mask that the woman wears is extremely eerie and even though it's expressionless, her eyes say everything.
