Review of Eyes Without a Face (1960) by Mark D — 16 Nov 2011
Fantastic artsy horror from France. Alida Valli and Pierre Brasseur are weirdly menacing (with good intensions) as the couple determined to re-supplying their daughter with a face. Franju's direction is menacing and Edith Scob is terrific as the girl with the expressionless mask.
Highly recommend.
