Review of Eyes Wide Shut (1999) by Robert G — 04 Jan 2014
People either loved or hated this movie, but strangely I found myself in between. I wasn't wound up by the whole Kidman/Cruise thing; I just saw them giving them good, genuine performances. You can obviously tell its a Kubrick movie, but it kept a compelling story with out getting all symbolism/monolith on me.
Don't believe the press and give this one a try.
