Review of Eye in the Sky (2007) by Brett B — 04 Aug 2016
Not sure why this movie got such good ratings? Sure Helen Mirren is an outstanding actress, but just like one of the critics mentioned, the whole movie is basically: "Are we authorized to shoot? How about now? Do we have permission yet? How about now?".
Does anyone really think they sit there and debate whether or not to take out 3 of the world's worst terrorists who are about to go on a deadly suicide mission? No. Collateral damage is already calculated.
Instead, I suggest watching Good Kill starring Ethan Hawk, that movie was much more brutal and realistic, focusing on the soldiers that follow the orders and the PTSD they get after pulling the triggers.
