Review of Eye in the Sky (2007) by Norm D — 30 Nov 2016
+ Should be up for the Best Picture of the Year Oscar. Almost up to "Crash" standards of movie excellence. + This picture will at first fascinate with its tech, then frustrate to distraction with its "kill chain," then break your heart and make you weep at the condition of Man & Woman.
+ The thing to keep in mind is that desperate godless religionists in forsaken parts of the world are following a false prophet and desiring their own death, and 21 virgins, and are wreaking this havoc, requiring havoc in some measure in return.
But it's an endless loop. + Remember "The Guns of Navarone?" This might be titled "The Guns of Drones." + Maybe the best picture seen this year. It's maddening and heartbreaking - and it's good.
