Review of Eye for an Eye (1996) by Ani S — 11 Aug 2008
Well, I saw the Indian remake of this movie, Dushman first. Much as I had liked Dushman and specially Asutosh Rana's amazing performance as the villain, Eye for an Eye did not strike me as being better than its Indian counterpart.
However, I loved Sally Field and Ed Harries acting as well as the differences between the two - Indian and the American version of the same story. If you are seeing this movie for the first time without having seen Dushman, I would say that its a good entertainer.
The ending was anticipated and there were no unusual twist. However, overall a neat suspense thriller.
