Review of Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (2011) by Tim C — 27 Aug 2012
I liked this film a little more than the critics did. Thomas Horn as 'Oskar' was really quite impressive. What a challenging role for a kid to play. Although Tom Hanks had very little screen time, he's his usual charming self.
The role I liked most was Max von Sydow's silent 'Renter'. The pace in this film is a little slow, but I think works given the story and the setting. I think it's worth watching, though my girlfriend will tell you otherwise.
