I'm glad that I took the time to watch this movie in the eleventh anniversary. All the negative stuff I heard about this movie didn't take away from the emotion that I rhino our country will always have a strong sense of. The characters get some getting used to but its all about the character development and some movies slowly work characters in and some just expect you to invest into a character quickly. Both approaches work at times and fail also but it works well here.

Ultimately it makes me curious about the book and I'll have to eventually check it out on kindle app.

All in all this was an homage that was done well.
