Review of Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (2011) by Johna B — 20 Dec 2012

The first 40 minutes of this film could use a complete overhaul in my opinion. The storyline is jumpy, characters aren't properly introduced or developed and the timing was way out of synch. The later half of the movie, however, was very well done.

I really liked the book and was hesitant to see this film due to its mediocre showing on the tomatometer but I am glad I saw it in a theater after all.
