Review of Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (2011) by Rick G — 27 Feb 2014
Would have liked to have seen more Tom Hanks in this movie, however, I found it to be a very moving movie about a confused, sad, and disconnected young boy trying to find some connection with the father he lost during 9/11.
He has a mental handicap and many who berate the movie seem to forget that. It leads to what they call annoying but it is important to the whole story line. Thomas Horn did an amazing job playing this role and is an amazing young actor.
