This movie is all about sex. Teenage sex.
How much comedy can you milk out of that particular topic? Not very much, and nothing that would be fresh or new, or even remotely funny.

Sure, this movie made me chuckle, and it was funny in places (reminded me a little of the tv series "The Bedford Diaries"), but all in all most of the jokes were too over the top and ridiculous.
The movie itself was built into small episodes, of which most came back to the main plot. That worked rather well.
