Review of Extinction (2018) by Dash P — 02 Aug 2018
SPOILERS.
So basically this is a story about this guy Peter, Alice and their two daughters. There is a war going on between Humans and Synthetics, Peter and Alice don't really get on, Peter is having strange dreams about this apocalypse which turns out to be visions of what is to come. Peter and his Family are synthetic and after the robot war vs Humans most of the syths had their brains wiped, apart from a small few who were allowed to keep their memories in preparation for this second war. Humans had been living on mars since they were forced off of earth and they come to re-claim their planet.
The concept is good, almost wanting you to feel sorry for these synthetics, but in reality I want the humans to win and I don't really have any connection to these robots. I will watch number two but I want to see the humans to win.
