Atom Egoyan's film, Exotica, is certainly not a straightforward and particularly easy film to comprehend. We are thrown into this surreal and animalistic world of obsession, violence, and abstraction.
All the actors are good here, Bruce Greenwood as the taxman, and Elias Koteas as the DJ of the Exotica nightclub. There is a uneasy tension throughout the piece, but yet I was always interested in what was going to happen next.
