This movie sucks donkey dick. You can see what they were going for, but COME ON! Terrible dialogue, bad acting, a stripper who never strips, and Elias Koteas and his sleazy monologues. That's what I want when I go pay to see naked ladies.
No actual naked and some creepy DJ guy sleazing it up on the intercom. Ew, ew, ew. The non-linear storytelling is interesting, and Egoyan strikes an eerie mood, it's just a shame the dialogue and performances are so stilted and jarring you can't suspend disbelief and go along for the ride.
It tries to create its own world and fails miserably.
