Review of Exorcist: The Beginning (2004) by Dayse M — 16 Feb 2010
Confused schlocker that was more famous for it's production than the finished product features Stallen Skzarsgard as a troubled priest investigating a buried temple in the desert and going face to face with a demon.
Sometimes effective, but mostly bland prequel does it's best, with Skarsgard making a fine, brooding lead, but ultimately one would be better off viewing the original Exorcist again instead. Makes an interesting double feature with Dominion, the original prequel this was hurriedly constructed to replace.
