Review of Exorcist: The Beginning (2004) by Arianna C — 15 Aug 2007
This version is weaker than the Schrader version, mainly because of the director. He turns this into yet another mainstream horror movie. The replacement doctor (Izabella Scorupco) is not very good as the one in the other version and the plot seems exists just to put unimportant secondary characters to be killed.
There seems to be little to no point of this movie, even though it is explained better in Dominion (well, Exocist-The Beginning put little attempt to explain what is happening).
